It will all come down to neck size. There are many Gallon-sized containers that have different neck and thread sizes.
You will need to measure the opening of your gallon containers and if you are measuring in inches. You will need to convert those metrics to millimeters.
That is the standard measuring unit in the packaging industry.
The thread size will also be important. You can use the diagram below.
